Nikki Chapa is a Lead Litigation Attorney at Smith & Bledsoe Family Law with strong roots in Austin, Texas. She focuses her practice on family law litigation, representing clients in complex and contested matters involving divorce, custody, property division, and enforcement of family law orders. Nikki is widely recognized for her assertive courtroom presence and her dedication to guiding clients through challenging transitions with clarity and advocacy.
Nikki discovered her passion for advocacy during law school through her work in an immigration clinic and various pro bono projects. This foundation continues to shape her philosophy with clients: providing straightforward counsel, zealous representation, and working to make each client feel supported throughout the legal process.
Nikki earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Catawba College and both her Juris Doctor and MBA from St. Mary’s University School of Law.
Nikki’s approach is defined by a balance of assertiveness in litigation and compassion toward her clients. She believes that every family deserves an advocate who will fiercely protect their rights while keeping long-term well-being in mind.
